4. Be patient.

Some countries will ask for a hard dupe of your print, some will bear a digital dupe, and some will bear multiple hard clones and a digital interpretation. You may find it’s worth paying to go to a passport print cell or shooter to insure you get it right. Generally, similar services will offer you both a digital interpretation of your prints and a hard dupe.

1. Don’t submit incomplete documentation.

Having incomplete or missing documentation is a major reason for rejection. Make a checklist and review all your documentation to make sure you don’t miss anything. Some of the most important documents include:

2. Don’t go unprepared for your Student Visa interview.

When you arrive, you must participate in an interview with an immigration officer. Do prepare to respond to some of these commonly asked questions to be asked:

  • Why you chose your program?
  • Why you decided to study abroad? What your test scores are?
  • From where you’ll manage your tuition and living expenses?
 

Plan to explain that your primary purpose for going abroad is to study. If you go unprepared for the visa interview, you may fail to convince the visa officer, and the risk of rejection will increase.

3. Don’t inform the officials of your plan to move to or stay after your studies.

Foreign countries have great Post Study Work Visas and other immigration pathways to consider after your studies. But no matter what your future intentions are, it’s important to show that you respect your current student visa’s rules and regulations. It’s not best to tell the immigration officer at the airport that you plan to return to your home country after your studies end.

4. Don’t apply at the last nanosecond.

Like utmost other effects in life, it’s important to pace yourself, so you have enough time to get everything done. Apply at least six months before your program’s launch date. It’s also a good idea to have a buffer period in case your first operation is rejected, redundant attestation is requested or there are long processing times.

Indeed if you have collected the documents you need, there will be recycling times, movables and occasionally interviews you’ll need to complete before having your visa approved and transferred to you.

5. Don’t lie or be nebulous

It should go without saying, but lying at any point on your visa operation, including the use of any forged documents, is illegal and will come with a severe penalty similar as a fine, ban or indeed expatriation if fraud is discovered after you arrive in the country. 

Whatever your situation, you should no way lie on your visa operation. Nebulous answers can also beget trouble. It’s essential that you fill out all information asked of you in detail and in the correct part of the form. 

Failure to do so could affect in a visa detention or an outright rejection, meaning you’ll have to stay longer and pay your operation figure again.
